Broad Focus Areas

We directly engage with researchers through training and workshops and collaborate with institutions to promote best research practices.

Our activities span several aims and objectives including the ones broadly outlined in the International Networks Statement and the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science.

However, our immediate focus will mainly be on organizing training sessions and facilitating the establishment of local Reproducibility Networks – national and institutional – that will serve as communities of practice which support researchers in their regions.

At the core of everything we do is community involvement, creating room for dialogue which allows us to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the local research community.

Prioritize Local Contexts

We believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to open science and use a diversity of approaches which prioritize local contexts
